people believe they know the difference between fact and opinion, between different points of views, between ideologies, etc, and how all these things relate to perceptions of right or wrong.

but they don’t. and it can be a very frustrating thing, especially when one decides to take a holier-than-thou/better-than-you type of attitude. it isn’t just one particular side that does it; it’s all sides. we unconsciously perpetuate it too when we go around wielding our beliefs.

kuya is right; there is no such thing as neutral language. this is not necessarily a bad thing, but it is a privilege to understand that in itself.

[maybe i aid into this cycle when i have rants like this. to criticize and also be aware you do it yourself. am i actually capable of that? oh gosh, my mind is working in overdrive.]
