wells fargo
i just got charged a monthly service fee of $8 from wells fargo. da fuq? that’s never happened before and i can’t seem to find any information on why i was charged that particular amount. i usually don’t get charged as long as i can deposit $25 into my savings account, and that happens automatically every first of the month. :S
you never have any money because you don’t have a job -______- get off your ass.

my name
whenever i introduce myself to someone new, or order food, or call customer service to, for example, troubleshoot my phone, it always gets messed up.
when they take down my name, it gets mistaken for “mary” or “maria.” or some weird variant, like “merrie” or “merry” or, my favorite, “merie.” lawl. idk.
maybe i don’t say it clearly...

well, that is another famous example, probably right after “you’re” and “your.” i’m just tired of people thinking that grammar is solely the confusion of homophones. it isn’t.
i don’t claim to know any more grammar than the average person, which is sort of a shame....

grammar is more complex than bitching about people not being able to distinguish homophones.
i mean, people can complain for the millionth time that “your” was used improperly in a sentence, but some still don’t realize “[Random Name] and I” is not always the correct form.
